While he is from uptown, he gives no telltale signs that he is from the Hip Hop haven that Puffy made famous with his shiny suits and later on Cam’Ron blew crowds away with his pink attire. Riz has a more subdued style and has the ability to craft tracks that appeal to audiences, whether from the smallest town in Mississippi or the streets of NYC. Riz is also living proof that it takes more than talent and a big name behind you to make a name for yourself in this business as he still sees the struggle on a daily basis. Despite the multitude of obstacles a new artist is bound to face in today’s rap scene. It was only a matter of time for RIZ, as his grind has brought him this far. Six Shot caught up with Riz to discuss working with Sha Money XL, his mixtape and why the rap game is changing. Let me say its not for the better. Life is too short! SMILE! It really is contagious! See going by all my tweets tonight, you would have NEVER known I had a really terrible day today and was just crying earlier. But I’m a SOLDIER so I just wipe away my tears, get back out there and just laugh my ass off! I’m NOT going to be angry at the world. It was released via Minaj’s VEVO and has received generally negative reviews from the public. The video received over 2,000,000+ views in less than 24 hours with over 55,000+ dislikes and 38,000+ likes on YouTube. The video has since far become Minaj’s second most popular video behind “Super Bass“. The song is taking jab shots at fellow hip hop star Lil Kim who Minaj has been beefing with since her entrance in hip hop. The wild music video filled with vibrant changing scenes in some reels. Nicki says that the music video was debuted online, instead of on television “because its important that my art is not tampered with, or compromised prior to you viewing it for the 1st time”. Oh my, where do I start with with blatant groupie fuckery? I am pretty sure that most of you know who Kimbella is. If you don’t she is just one of the many co-stars on the popular VH1 reality series “Love & Hip Hop“, who some dub the “trouble maker” of the cast. She’s also the girlfriend and mother of Juelz Santana’s child. Of course the coolest way for a groupie aka video vixen and model to meet rappers like Juelz is obviously through Twitter or Facebook we have seen many groupies do it. Kimbella has described herself as a “good woman” and a “loving mother” which she probably is. On the other hand, she also recently admitted to starting her relationship with Juelz via Twitter direct messages. All the recent public melodrama it isn’t looking very good for Kimbella and Juelz relationship. It’s bad enough that Kimbella went onto national TV and disclosed to the world that she slept with a more popular rapper. To top it off she got smacked up pretty bad for it, then had the nerve to ask for an apology. This time she’s obviously gone to far and has pissed many people off in the process. Thuggin’ is an EP by rapper Freddie Gibbs and producer Madlib. This is their official debut release, created specifically for Madlib’s Medicine Show Tour, late 2011. The Thuggin’ EP contains two main vocal tracks, instrumentals and two bonus beats. The record features a dual A-side cover with “Madlib” on one side, “Freddie Gibbs” on the other. It was released in November 2011 through Madlib Invazion. A full-length LP is also set to release sometime during 2012. At the Madlib Medicine Show tour stop in San Francisco, the producer announced a collaborative project with the rapper Freddie Gibbs (photos here). Gibbs also debuted “Thuggin’” and “Deep,” from their debut EP. The 6-track record is released on Madlib’s “Madlib Invazion” record label. The imprint the producer founded to release his 13 Madlib Medicine Show volumes.
