On August 9, 2011, Dylan Ratigan exploded. He spent two minutes giving a primal yell at our political system, demanding the extraction of our money and dignity end. He said that “It was his most heartfelt and emotional moment on television, ever.” He was mad as hell “with the markets in turmoil and the global financial architecture groaning under the weight of fraud and corruption, it’s a good time to think about what leadership would look like.” Believe it or not, he says “we have had good leadership, purpose, integrity, and aligned interests in this country.” Let it be known that his rant went VIRAL and the emails came pouring in some were good some were obviously bad, but most importantly people were listening. Next up is another crazy viral video that you all have to see. This is a fun video made by students at the University of Alabama as a recruitment tool for sororities during “Greek Life” aka “Rush Week.” The girls wear sunglasses, white tank tops and trucker hats as they ‘rap’ about rush week and joining campus sororities for their Panhellenic Association. The video has gotten hundreds of thousands of views So far this silly rap has gotten horrible responses and had been ranked really low on the Youtube rating scale. Most of the internet is showing the cut down version of the 2+ minute video and I have no idea why, since that only cuts out the full meaning of what they are attempting. I watched the video and found it all to be silly. So what they can’t rap or sing for that matter. They aren’t trying to come up and get famous as superstars in the music industry. They have received a lot of unneeded hate over their video that was posted for the world to see on Youtube. I guess that people don’t realize that is probably a part of their rush week requirements in order to PLEDGE for the sorority that they want to join. You got to sacrifice your comfort zone just to get in. I guess they want to feel stupid, just to get accepted into a house filled with other girls who want to party. Can you blame them? HaHa, it’s just a college girl and guy thing right. Whatever…LOL
If you love animals you are definitely going to love this cute video named “Useful Dog Tricks 2″, up above. This smart little doggy puts most other dogs to shame for only learning simple tricks like sit, stay and beg. Jesse’s owner showcases her Jack Russell terrier’s tricks in this video that has netted nearly 1 million views since it was uploaded a week ago. A previous video starring little Jesse has gotten more than 11+ million views. Jesse’s owner says that their relationship is solely based on “mutual respect, understanding and trust”. She also says positive reinforcement helps little Jesse with her tricks saying, “Whoever said tricks can’t be useful?” She is so right. It’s just too cute! I really liked watching the little doggie go shopping while pushing its own shopping cart. I just can’t get enough of these animal videos…
Just to let you all know that I will be adding viral videos to the list of categories that I write about during the week. I figure why not since I find these things entertaining, I thought that you might too.
