There Is No Competition 3: Death Comes in 3′s is a mixtape by rapper Fabolous. It was released in December 2011. Fabolous continues his mixtape series with DJ Drama with the follow up to There Is No Competition 2: The Grieving Music. This mixtape was released for promotion of his upcoming studio album, Loso’s Way 2: Rise to Power. The Brooklyn-born rapper released the mixtape on Christmas afternoon (December 25), sending a note to his at that time 1.5 million Twitter crew: “Oh & dont 4get 2 unwrap ur gift from me! #tinc3 at 12 noon!! From me, @DJDRAMA, & @datpiffmixtapes #MerryChristmas,” he wrote. Loso’s Way 2: Rise to Power is the upcoming sixth studio album by Fabolous. The album is a sequel to his fifth studio album Loso’s Way. It was originally planned for the album to be released sometime in July 2010 or August 2010, and was later announced that it would be released in September 2011. Fabolous released There Is No Competition 2: The Grieving Music in August 2010 and There Is No Competition 3: Death Comes in 3′s in December 2011 to help promote the album. Video Synopsis: In the Aristotle directed music video above creatively begins with Fabolous playing the role of a gangster crime boss. He smokes and puffs his fat Cuban cigar and meets with a trio of professional looking females who he enlists for a job. After mapping it out, they hit the club with each girl. All playing a specific chosen role in this a planned heist. Before the end of the video you can see the tricky ladies make their way towards the back of the club, where of course the big cats count the money. The three females then proceed to rob them and quietly make their exits.
The video above is some behind the scenes clips of Fabolous’ track “She Did It” video shoot courtesy of Nigel D. With cameos from French Montana, Lloyd Banks, Julez Santana and more making an appearance. They have even added a surprise and included a bonus track on the mixtape. The final track on the mixtape ends at the 3:10 mark. The additional song begins at the 5:40 mark is Black Bird Ft. Broadway Produced By Cardiak. Fabolous stated that he had “About 12 beats so far, and is working with newer, young hungry producers.” The new highly anticipated studio album is expected out sometime this year.
