What in the freaking hell is matter with people? Don’t ultra-famous celebrities like Lady GaGa have anything else better to do than to act like a self-absorbed hypocrites on their private Twitter accounts saying obscene stuff like, “You chew beef, I wear meat and stay on top” and “It is okay to be a ratchet slut sometimes but ONLY SOMETIMES!” Yes there’s so much more that I haven’t posted. Yes folks its true, Mother Monster has secrets the world knows nothing about. Then she turns around and publicly humiliates other celebs in order to make a point showing that she is better than the people she is criticizing. At the same time making it appear as if she is some sort of martyr and what she is dishing out to others is okay because she is working for the “good of mankind” and “saving the world.” Or is it just that some celebrities really need to be fame monsters to further their careers. As the saying goes any publicity you can get for yourself is good publicity. At this point I am pretty sure the world knows by now that Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia, are fighting with Kelly Osbourne and her mother Sharon Osbourne. Not to mention that Kelly’s fellow red carpet fashion smack down queen, Joan Rivers, has even joined in and been engaged in a trivial showdown via interviews, “open letters” on web sites and crazy tweets.
During a October 2012 interview with Fabulous Mag, Kelly had mentioned getting bullied. She revealed the following, “I get called fat all the time. A big fat whore. Lady Gaga’s fans are the worst. They’ve said I should kill myself, that they hope I get raped. I mean it’s crazy but I’ve had this all my life and I just try and ignore it.” Some would say, however, that she has only fueled the flames when it comes to Gaga’s treasured “Little Monsters”. Back in 2009, Kelly had criticized GaGa’s looks and labeled her a “Butterface”, meaning everything “but her face” is attractive. She then slammed Gaga for skipping the red carpet at this year’s Grammys. When talking about her recent weight gain she thought Gaga might be pregnant.
Speaking to Channel 4’s Alan Carr, Kelly was asked to comment on a recent photo of Gaga wearing a burka, she responded: “I think she is pregnant because she has been covering up this part of her body recently and I have been noticing that a lot. And her style has changed and you can’t bleach your hair blonde when you are pregnant,” she added. “I have no filter,” she shrieks. “I say what I think and that’s it. I actually think she’s a good singer but she has the worst fans in the world and you have a responsibility to stop that. I think you do anyway.”
On January 10, the battle between GaGa and Kelly came to a head. GaGa wrote a open letter on her website and responded to Kelly. Telling her the following message in a shockingly public manner, “I know I’m perceived as a wild child, but in reality I am woman that deeply cares for humanity. I have empathy for you Kelly, but I feel it culturally important to note that you have chosen a less compassionate path.” Explaining, “Your work on E! with the Fashion Police is rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people’s beauty against one another.” She added, “Your show breeds negativity, and over the years has even become comedic in nature. It glorifies you and Joan Rivers pointing in the camera, laughing, and making jokes about artists and celebrities as if we are zoo animals.”
In a heartfelt response to GaGa’s letter, Kelly’s mom Sharon Osbourne wrote her own open letter and hammered GaGa pretty hard in many area’s owning her with almost every sentence. She said, “I am responding to your open letter to my daughter Kelly, and I am perplexed as to why you would go public with an open letter.”
Sharon went on and lambasted GaGa bluntly telling her, “Your open letter is hypocritical and full of contradictions. And as your mother Cynthia supports you, I support my daughter Kelly.” She added, “You say her work on E! with the Fashion Police is “rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people’s beauty against one another.” Welcome to the real world. Example, when I saw you wear a dress made out of raw meat, I was sickened.” As we all were and the smell was pretty horrific to say the least, but awkwardly GaGa looked proud. Don’t forget what she tweeted on her private account (shown at the very top of the post).
This is where Sharon’s response gets really good, she tells GaGa, “By your actions to Kelly right now, you have shown me that you are nothing more than a publicly seeking hypocrite and an attention seeker. You know it would have been much more dignified of you to do this privately. I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter. Are you so desperate that you needed to make this public?” Exactly, thank you for pointing that out, because it’s right on the mark.
One of the reasons for Sharon’s response was also forwarded to Vincent, which is GaGa’s manager. The now deleted blog which is only now available within the web archives and also shown here, with just some of the worst comments attached. Some of the horrific comments posted were, “Kelly Osbourne is an ugly whore who deserves to be hit by a car and die of AIDS.” Another monster commented, “Kelly Osbourne needs to get raped by big black guys.” One of the most disgusting things said was, “Kelly Osbourne needs to die the same way Daniel Pearl did.”
Joan Rivers was questioned by Entertainment Tonight about the drama to which she replied, “Fashion Police is a comedy show; anyone that comes out of an egg should figure that out,” saying that Mother Monster should “lighten up.”
I think its irresponsible when GaGa said, “I cannot control my fans,” but yet she claims, that she does “discourage them from any negativity and violence.” How so? Just like Mrs. Osbourne said above that she was criticizing Kelly in front of over 32 million fans that do literally worship the ground she walks on. On the other hand it appears that Kelly hit a nerve when giving her opinion during the interview, saying that GaGa was looking pregnant because of her weight gain. Who’s right and who’s wrong?
Ironically, it appears that some high profile celebrities lack decorum in handling their personal matters. What do you all think about this celebrity fight? Please share your thoughts, opinions and comments with me about this topic down below…
