
Brian Collins formerly known as Rockstar and currently known as Kid Ink. Is an rapper, producer and songwriter from the city of Los Angeles, California. Kid Ink acquired a unique sense of music with both parents being raised on the East Coast. Having spent the majority of the early part of his career behind the control board and not the mic, Kid Ink crafting his production skills working with multi-platinum artists. Sitting behind the sound board was not enough for Kid Ink. Just a few years ago, Kid Ink picked up the mic and a new contender in the Hip-Hop game was born from the underground. Honing his skills as a songwriter creating hooks for his beats, Kid Ink stepped up his lyrical repertoire with full length and completed songs. His debut mixtape “Crash Landing” hosted by DJ Ill Will and DJ Rockstar was an underground sensation in its first week of release onto the web. Produced by Director Alex Nazari, Kid Ink released an astounding 8 cutting-edge music videos in 2010 alone. Tearing the internet to shreds, Kid Ink’s released 19 music videos for songs like “Blowing Swishers”, “Keep It Rollin”, “La La La” and “Run This”, have garnered a very impressive 25+ million views. He then released one free album, “Daydreamer“ and another mixtape named called “Wheels Up“. Hot Music Video – Lost In The World – Kanye West ft. Justin Vernon (Bon Iver)
“Lost in the World” is a song by hip hop recording artist Kanye West from his fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010). The song features vocals by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, as well as sampling his 2009 song “Woods“. It also contains portions of “Soul Makossa“ written by Manu Dibango, and samples of “Comment No. 1″, performed by Gil Scott-Heron. It was produced by West and Jeff Bhasker, who wrote the song with Vernon and Malik Jones. “Lost in the World” was initially released on September 29 and was over 6 minutes long, but the version on the album was was split up into two parts, with the outro becoming a new track entitled “Who Will Survive in America”. The song received positive reviews from music critics, who considered it as one of the strongest compositions on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. “Lost in the World“ was featured during the closing credits of “Runaway“, a 35 minute music video directed by West set with music from the album. “Lost in the World” was sampled in several freestyles and remixes, including one with West’s fellow GOOD Music label mate Pusha T. West first performed the song live at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and subsequently performed it at several music festivals, including the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the The Big Chill.
