Lil’ Kim Talks About Her Upcoming 5th Album, Documentary and Book “The Price of Loyalty”

Lil’ Kim’s in the news again and as its quite obvious that you haters can’t keep this “Queen Bee” of Hip Hop royalty down. She’s definitely been “keeping it real” so to speak and quite busy working with her new protégée Tiffany Foxx. Lil’ Kim recently called into DJ Whoo Kid’s popular Whoolywood Shuffle” radio show on Shade 45 located in New York City. Lil’ Kim talked about many things during her time on the air. She discussed some unreleased Biggie material and had once AGAIN brought up her serious dislike for the Notorious movie. Coincidentally she was discussing her disdain on the anniversary of Biggie’s death. With a documentary and book, “The Price of Loyalty” on the way, she also talked about about her upcoming projects, her not so personal relationship with Biggie’s ex-wife Faith Evans and also controversial rapper 50 Cent. She also talked about what she thinks of Miley Cyrus and her rebellious ways. She also discussed why she decided to work with Tiffany. Last but not least she discussed her upcoming fifth studio album. The album has been in the works for the past few years. In November 2010, Kim began recording material for her fifth studio album, tentatively titled Hard Core 2: All Hail the Queen. Back in March 2012, during an interview with MTV’s Sucker Free, Kim had revealed that contract issues with production duo Trackmasters was the reason behind her upcoming album delay, saying “…contractually, by the courts, I could not record any music – I wasn’t supposed to put any music out.” Check out the interview » Read more..

Hot Music Video – How Deep Is Your Love – Sean Paul ft. Kelly Rowland

How Deep Is Your Love” is the fifth single from recording artist Sean Paul‘s fifth studio album Tomahawk Technique, featuring R&B and dance singer Kelly Rowland. The song was written by Mikkel S. Eriksen, Jason Henriques, Ester Dean and Sean Paul Henriques.  “How Deep Is Your Love” was produced by Stargate. Tomahawk Technique is the fifth studio album by dancehall recording artist Sean Paul, released through Atlantic Records and Warner Music Group. This album that was released back in September 2012. Sean told music blog Rap-Up that Akon, Stargate, DJ Ammo, Benny Blanco, and Kelly Rowland, would appear on the album. “There’s a broadening of my artistry, I’m working with other producers and artists I’ve never worked with,” the Jamaican rapper told Reuters at the recent KIIS FM Jingle Bell Ball in Los Angeles, California. “Tomahawk Technique” follows the success of the singer’s 2009′s record “Imperial Blaze,” which earned Paul a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae album. For the new CD, he had teamed up with producers Rico Love, Benny Blanco and Stargate, who have been behind artists such as Katy Perry, Rihanna and Natasha Bedingfield, to work on his new album. “What’s going to surprise fans is that there’s a lot more singing, more high notes that I never used to do before,” said Paul, adding “it’s a mixture of pop music into dance music.” Check out his new music video below after the jump… » Read more..

Aliaune Damala Badara Thiam, better known as simply Akon, is a Senegalese R&B recording artist, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist and businessman. He has since founded two successful record labels, Konvict Muzik and Kon Live Distribution. Akon often sings hooks for other artists and is currently credited with over 300 guest appearances and has 35 Billboard Hot 100 songs. He has worked with numerous performers such as Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Dr. Dre, Eminem, R. Kelly, Diddy, Lil Wayne, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Whitney Houston, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga and many more artists. Lady Gaga and T-Pain are two artists who were given their chance at fame by Akon. French Montana born Karim Kharbouch, is a rapper and singer of Moroccan and Somali descent. He is the founder and CEO of Cocaine City Records. He is known for his frequent collaborations with Max B, and more recently with Chinx Drugz and the rest of his group, the Coke Boys. His stage name is a conflation of French (from the French protectorate of Morocco) and Montana (from the fictitious Tony Montana in the 1983 movie Scarface). In December 2011, Montana signed a record deal with P. Diddy‘s Bad Boy Records and Interscope Records.
