International Rock Star (IRS) Records formerly named Queen Bee Entertainment until 2010, is a record label owned by rapper Lil’ Kim aka Queen Bee. All artists that are signed album’s are released under I.R.S Records. Lil’ Kim has partnered up with Brookland Entertainment which is distributed by Universal Music Group. Current artists under Lil Kim’s label include Tiffany Foxx, Bondz, Lambolux, Dash, Brill, SK the rockstar, Miss Sonia, Shaun Pynne, Hemobrown. Former artists that are no longer signed to the label include Lil’ Cease, Clyde McKnight, Sha Money XL.

No one had really heard of Tiffany Foxx until Lil Kim had brought Foxx under her wing and decided to mentor her. Back in March 2013, Lil Kim had called into Hot 97 while Tiffany Foxx was in the studio with Peter Rosenberg, doing her interview. During the interview Foxx explains that the two met when Lil Kim came to St. Louis, Missouri three years ago. Tiffany helped find her a studio and rolled out the red carpet for her with a Maybach and chef. Lil Kim eventually heard Foxx’s music and wanted to jump on the remix to her tracks from Foxx’s mixtape called Yellow Tape which the singles  “Jay-Z” and “Twisted” are available. “I have a documentary coming out and it will all be explained, and that will be the last and first time that I really go into depth about it,” Lil Kim said before turning the attention back to her protégée.

Tiffany gushed about Lil Kim during her interview saying, “She was a woman of her word, and the rest is pretty much history. She is the sweetest person I’ve ever met. She totally took me in. Lil’ Kim’s in the news again and as its quite obvious that you haters can’t keep this “Queen Bee” of Hip Hop royalty down. She’s definitely been “keeping it real” so to speak and quite busy working with her new protégée Tiffany Foxx. Lil’ Kim recently called into DJ Whoo Kid’s popular Whoolywood Shuffle” radio show on Shade 45 located in New York City. Lil’ Kim talked about many things during her time on the air. She discussed some unreleased Biggie material and had once AGAIN brought up her serious dislike for the Notorious movie. Coincidentally she was discussing her disdain on the anniversary of Biggie’s death. With a documentary and book, “The Price of Loyalty” on the way, she also talked about about her upcoming projects, her not so personal relationship with Biggie’s ex-wife Faith Evans and also controversial rapper 50 Cent. She also talked about what she thinks of Miley Cyrus and her rebellious ways. She also discussed why she decided to work with Tiffany. Last but not least she discussed her upcoming fifth studio album. The album has been in the works for the past few years. In November 2010, Kim began recording material for her fifth studio album, tentatively titled Hard Core 2: All Hail the Queen. Back in March 2012, during an interview with MTV’s Sucker Free, Kim had revealed that contract issues with production duo Trackmasters was the reason behind her upcoming album delay, saying “…contractually, by the courts, I could not record any music – I wasn’t supposed to put any music out.” Check out the interview » Read more..

Katriana Huguet better known by her stage name Kat Dahlia, is a Cuban-American singer and songwriter. Kat was born in Miami, Florida, she moved to New York City where a failed relationship inspired her to write songs. After singing from an early age, she began recording in 2012 and signed to Silvia Rhone‘s sub-label of Epic Records Vested in Culture, and released her first track “Gangsta” in December 2012. With song lyrics that talk about real life struggles, “And this recession so depression / My parents don’t stop stressin / Just hopin I learned all they lessons / And I’m paying for this session / I’m paying for this session / And I’m paying rent, food, clothes, phones, Christmas presents / 6 shots and I’m just counting all my blessings / No days off baby I ain’t resting / I told my things / now I’m done confessin.” Back during late February 2012, Silvia had spoke with Billboard about the new label that recently had also signed pop duo Quadron, R&B singer/songwriter Deon Young, pop singer/songwriter/musician Sebastian Mikael and also rappers Casey Veggies and Cashius Green. The web first caught wind of 21-year-old, Kat Dahlia back in February 2012 while still using the name Kat Hue, she had quietly released her Shades of Grayalbum. Faith Evans Discusses Notorious B.I.G.’s Murder and Relationship With Lil’ Kim On Wendy Williams

Faith Renée Evans, is a singer-songwriter, record producer, occasional actress and author. Faith was born in Florida and raised in New Jersey, then she relocated to Los Angeles in 1993 for a career in the music business. After working as a backing vocalist for Al B. Sure and Christopher Williams, she became the first female artist to be contracted with Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs‘ and Bad Boy Entertainment recording company during 1994, for which she collaborated with several label mates such as Mary J. Blige and Carl Thomas and released three platinum-certified studio albums between the years 1995 and 2001, including Faith (1995), Keep The Faith (1998) and Faithfully (2001). Other than her recording career, Evans is mostly known as the widow of New York rapper Christopher Wallace aka “The Notorious B.I.G.” whom she married in August 1994, a few weeks after meeting at a Bad Boy Records photoshoot. The turbulent marriage resulted in Faith’s involvement in the infamous East Coast–West Coast hip hop rivalry, dominating the rap music news at the time, and ended with Biggie’s murder in a yet-unsolved drive-by shooting in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997. A 1997 tribute single for Biggie featuring Puff Daddy and the band 112, named I’ll Be Missing You, based on the melody of The Police’s 1983 single Every Breath You Take and became Faith’s best-selling song to date. Nicki Minaj Goes Off On The Breakfast Club, Talks About Her Reality Show and Mariah Carey

As part of her promo tour for her new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (The Re-Up), Nicki Minaj took some time out of her day and stopped by Power 105.1′s infamous “Breakfast Club” morning show on Wednesday, November 21. For a quick chat about everything that Nicki has going on in her daily life. After she gave them a heavy verbal bitch slap and lashing for not being prepared for their interview with her. Nicki literally went off on DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne, questioning how they are even on the radio with such poor interviewing skills. Yep, I am not surprised to see that this has happened. After she kind of calmed down, she offered up more of her attitude as they discussed all the things she’s promoting from her E! reality show called Nicki Minaj: My Truth, how she’s perceived as a person and more. Nicki was definitely not going to hear any kiss ass attempts being thrown by the hosts of the popular Breakfast Club morning show earlier this week. You can hear it in her bold tone, it was so harsh that they may not even get Nicki back on for a future interview. Yep, things got so bad that the “world’s most dangerous” crew even turned on each other. Hot Music Video – Freedom (Explicit) – Nicki Minaj + Behind The Scenes & AMA Performance

Freedom” is a song by female recording artist and songwriter Nicki Minaj, and was released as the second single off of the re-release of her sophmore studio album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (The Re-Up). The song “Freedom” was written by Minaj herself, while production was handled by Boi-1da. It premiered on Tim Westwood’s show on BBC Radio 1Xtra in the UK on November 3, and was available for digital download the same day. A music video was shot on November 1, in Dungeness, England. “Freedom” has received generally favorable reviews from music critics, along with negative remarks, with many critics complimenting the song’s production, her vocal ability, rapping and lyrical content. In September 2012, Nicki posted on Twitter that she finished writing the Barbz’s favorite song off The Re-Up album.
