Brianna Perry is a new breed of female MC who contributes her love of hip hop to her music and sense of style, giving her a street edge with feminine appeal; embodying today’s young urban female. Formerly known as Lil’ Brianna “The Candy Girl”, the young starlet was born and raised in Miami, FL. She began rapping at the young age 3 and immediately knew her destiny was to perform. “I was basically birthed in the studio. My afterschool care consisted of sitting in on other artists’ studio sessions. At a young age, all of the influential people in my life were involved in music so subconsciously my passion grew for the game as well. My parents and E-Class took notice to my developing talent and decided the rest is history.” Throughout the early 2000′s, Brianna made several high profile appearances on various projects, most notably Trina’s “Kandi” off her album Diamond Princess as well as collaborations with Jacki-O and Lil Steph. Brianna then went on to make cameo roles in television and music videos, ranging from UPN’s Road To Stardom and BET’s Rap City: Da Basement to videos for artists such as Missy Elliot, DJ Khaled, Trick Daddy, Flo Rida, Brisco and Git Fresh. With the release of mixtapes like Candy Girl, Princess of Miami and The Graduation. Brianna’s skills on the mic have been highly praised in publications like The Miami Herald, The Miami New Times, XXL, and The Source: Brianna says, “My music is distinctive and matchless. I have my own lane and I’m going full throttle. My brand is a breath of fresh air and I’m here to attack the game from every angle I possibly can. I’m not only limited to music”. Brianna has recently filmed a movie with renowned actor and director Charles “Roc” Dutton.
