Starships” is a song by hip-hop recording artist, Nicki Minaj, and appears her second studio album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. It premiered during On Air with Ryan Seacrest and was released as the lead single from the album on the same day. It was produced by RedOne, Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub. The song was released for digital download in February 2012. An accompanying music video for the single was shot in Hawaii on March 13–15, 2012.  “Starships” debuted at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking her second solo arrival in the Top 10 of the chart, after Super Bass, which reached number 3 in 2011. The song peaked at number 5 in the US and was certified platinum. In the spring of 2012, Starships was the 3rd most-played song on Myspace, the 12th most-played song on Yahoo! Beez in the Trap” is a song by hip hop artist Nicki Minaj from her second studio album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. It features American rapper 2 Chainz. The song got its premiere at DJ Flex’s radio show at Hot 97 in March 2012. Background of the song: “Beez in the Trap” is an electro hop song. Before this song was released, 2 Chainz confirmed his appearance on Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. On March 20, 2012; Minaj posted on Twitter that “Beez in the Trap” is set to premiere on Power 105.1′s DJ Clue’s radio show at 7:00 pm, however, it ended up being premiered by Hot 97‘s DJ Flex instead. It later made its way online shortly thereafter. “Beez in the Trap” received generally positive reviews from music critics, with several commenting positively on Minaj’s performance. Although he felt that the song “lack[ed] real substance,” XXL magazine praised “Beez in the Trap,” calling it a “memorable moment” of Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, and also complimented Minaj’s “unique energy and distinct personality” displayed in the song. The song awarded her with her second Best New Track accolade (the first being Super Bass). Nicki Minaj’s Not So Shocking Pre-Game Nipple Slip At NBA All-Star Performance

Nicki Minaj suffered a bit of a wardrobe malfunction during the announcement of All-Star Game lineups. Despise her awkward and shocking performance at the 2012 Grammys, this time the stage wasn’t set on fire and she wasn’t levitating or talking threw her alter ego Roman Zolanski. In anticipation of Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded this wild rapper caters the sport mania and opened the show with the following songs: ‘Moment 4 Life’, ‘Super Bass’, ‘Turn Me On’ and ‘Starships’. During her performance her nipple slipped out of her bra but her breasts were fully covered. I don’t know why people are making such a big deal about this. It’s not like her whole nipple fell out of her shirt and we actually saw anything that mattered. I would think her performance at the Grammys was definitely more to talk crap about. Regardless, Nicki is out getting her money doing what she loves and that is all that matters. Stupid Hoe” is a song by recording artist and songwriter Nicki Minaj. It was released in December 2011 as the second promotional single from her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. It is an electro hop and happycore song produced by Diamond Kuts, credited as Tina Dunham. The music video for Stupid Hoe was directed by Hype Williams and was shot on December 19 & 20 in 2011. It was released via Minaj’s VEVO and has received generally negative reviews from the public. The video received over 2,000,000+ views in less than 24 hours with over 55,000+ dislikes and 38,000+ likes on YouTube. The video has since far become Minaj’s second most popular video behind Super Bass. The song is taking jab shots at fellow hip hop star Lil Kim who Minaj has been beefing with since her entrance in hip hop. The wild music video filled with vibrant changing scenes in some reels. Nicki says that the music video was debuted online, instead of on television “because its important that my art is not tampered with, or compromised prior to you viewing it for the 1st time”. Written by Minaj, along with Daniel Johnson and Ester Dean, the song features uncredited vocals from Dean. Production of the song was done by Kane. According to Minaj the song’s lyrics tell the story of a boy that you have a crush on and are about wanting to get intimate but instead taking a playful approach. The song draws from the hip hop, R&B genres while infusing elements of pop and Minaj’s rap.
